Cabot Trail 100

Commemorating 100 Years of One of the World’s Most Scenic Drives

In 2032, Cape Breton Island will celebrate 100 years of the Cabot Trail — one of the world’s most spectacular scenic drives.

For a century, travellers have come to experience its dramatic coastal views, vibrant communities and the cultures that shape life along the Trail.

A Year of Experiences

Throughout 2032, communities along the Cabot Trail will host special events, cultural celebrations and outdoor experiences, inviting visitors and residents alike to be part of the story.

From music and storytelling to adventure and local traditions, Cabot Trail 100 will showcase the spirit of Cape Breton like never before.

Be Part of the Celebration

Cabot Trail 100 is a collaborative initiative of Victoria County, Inverness County, the Government of Nova Scotia, the Union of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaw, Destination Cape Breton, the Nova Scotia Indigenous Tourism Enterprise Network, Parks Cape Breton and Cape Breton University.

Together, we’re commemorating the past — and building the next chapter of the Cabot Trail.

Stay connected and be part of the journey.
