Destination Cape Breton invites you to participate in our Featured Listings Program. This program offers tourism businesses greater visibility across the newly redesigned and mobile-friendly VisitCapeBreton.com, connecting your offerings with high-intent travellers as they actively plan their trips.

What’s Included

For $500 per listing, your business will benefit from:

• Priority placement on the landing pages of key parent categories such as Outdoor & Adventure, Golf, Food & Drink, Accommodations, Arts, Culture & Heritage and Music & Events

• Top placement on the listing pages of all relevant subcategories

• Homepage exposure for the region(s) and communities your business operates in

• A “Featured” badge that highlights your listing and builds user trust

• Integration into a new website designed to enhance user experience and increase engagement, with structured listing cards, intuitive navigation and mobile responsiveness

• A 12-month listing duration from the date of activation

• No additional content or customization required, your listing uses the existing format

Why the Price Has Increased

As of 2025, the program no longer includes social media posts or homepage sliders. Instead, the value has shifted to a smarter, user-focused platform that delivers:

• Cleaner, mobile-first design that improves the user journey

• Category-first browsing that connects visitors directly to what they’re looking for

• Higher visibility where it matters, not just where it looks good

In short, your listing is now more strategically placed where users are most likely to convert, leading to more meaningful exposure and stronger performance.

Important Listing Guidelines

Reminder: Each distinct visitor-facing service (e.g., accommodations, dining, activities) must have its own separate listing to ensure accurate placement in relevant categories.
Each listing must be Featured individually if you’d like it to receive the benefits outlined above.

However, if your business offers multiple services, these can be linked together via the Related Businesses feature, which allows users to seamlessly explore all your offerings. These linked listings appear when a user clicks your Enhanced Listing but do not receive priority placement unless they are also Featured.
