Industry Engagement Sessions – Spring 2026
Destination Cape Breton is hosting a series of informal, in-person sessions across the Island to help you navigate our new website and app. These practical gatherings are designed to provide direct, hands-on support rather than formal presentations.
What We’ll Cover
- New Platform Walkthrough: An overview of the website and app, including how your listing appears and performs.
- Visibility & Marketing: Tips for keeping information current and exploring marketing opportunities, including co-op discussions and trip planning.
- Operational Support: A brief overview of the Marketing Levy, reporting processes and the Tourism HR Advisor Satellite Program. We will also discuss DCB’s “Take Your Time” campaign and how industry can adopt that messaging.
- Direct Assistance: One-on-one listing reviews, Q&A and help updating your business information.
Why It Matters
The new digital platforms place a greater focus on visibility. Because your offering now plays a larger role in how visitors discover your business, small updates to your profile can make a significant difference in your performance.
For accommodation operators, we will specifically address ongoing questions regarding the marketing levy, reporting and third-party platforms.
Who Should Attend & How to Register
These sessions are open to all tourism operators, whether you are currently listed or just getting started.
Sessions run from late April to mid-May across Cape Breton Island.
